ABOUT ANGELA SEMENAS

 

 

Director and Editor Angela Semenas, based in Germany, was born in Belarus, spent some years in Lituania and Cyprus, getting education in Visual Design and Communications, and collecting experience in fashion industry. She began her directing career in her twenties, shooting fashion videos for local designers. She eventually enrolled at Frankfurt where after a year into film school, she dropped out to direct and edit.

Within four years Semenas executed dozens of low budget videos where she served sometimes not only as a director, but as her own  editor and production designer. Nowadays she succesfully collaborates whith video production companies such as Dreiideen Design Experts, Studio AVS, 5pics Ph based in Frankfurt; Like it, Dark Line Studio, Videooperator.by based in Minsk; Tropic Ph based in Bali.

Semenas resides both in Frankfurt am Main and in Minsk, but works worldwide.
